Mace Windu

2017-2021

My darling cat Mace Windu. He was only 4, but when I became his foster mom he had already lived a tough life. He had feline HIV, calicivirus, chronic kidney disease, had no teeth due to chronic stomatitis and gingivitis. He had digestional issues, acid reflux, and just generally was plagued with all sorts of issues. He lived and loved a lot in his short little life. I gave him IV fluids every single day. He ate a very special diet. He had other medications he took daily. No matter how much I stabbed him with needles or forced pills or liquid medications in his mouth, it was like he always instantly forgot. He was so incredibly loving and trusting and needed to constantly be held, hugged, and carried around. He especially loved sitting on my shoulders. His meow was just so persistent, hilarious and sweet. I couldn’t say no to him. He was obsessed with hair elastics. He had such a will to live. I know he touched many people’s lives, and he always made such an impression on everyone that met him. His memorial Instagram is: macewinduthecat. Rest in peace, sweet angel.
