Prince Dastan

Grief is so painfully real, regardless of its origin. The love of, and attachment to an animal friend can equal that of human relationships. Likewise, the loss of an animal can be just as devastating. Last night our Prince Dastan fell suddenly ill and it was his time to go. I wish I had the words to describe how I’m feeling but all that comes out are tears. Price Dastan was such a kind soul. He was our oldest, our laziest, but he was special. He was our first. To wake up this morning not finding him on his favorite carpet waiting for belly rubs is heartbreaking. I wish we had more time together. Your sisters Poppy and Miffy will miss you deeply.
